Entourage opening folders continued

Hmm... I can't even change an icon for a folder. I click on the picture in
"Get Info" and Entourage wants to compress and send it out as mail, too.

Oh, brother.

What are you talking about? Entourage has no "Get Info" feature. The Finder
has such a feature, for every file. But the Finder does not send email,
least of all from Entourage. So what exactly are you doing? Clicking once
on the graphic in ant Get Info inspector dews nothing at al except select
the graphic (icon). You can then copy it and paste it into other Get Info
windows set an icon for a file. None of this has anything whatsoever to do
with Entourage. So you'd better describe every step that you take.

The post was a continuation of an earlier one, which describes how Entourage
seems to want to be in on everything I do.

If I click an entry in Spotlight, Entourage brings up an email, and asks me
if I want to compress the file before sending it.

I wanted to change the icon of a folder on the desktop and upon clicking on
the picture in the Get Info popup, Entourage again brings up an email
message, again asking me if I want to compress the folder before sending it
out.

I am running MAC OS 10.4.1, Office 2004 for MAC on a PowerBook G4 17", if
those things matter. It's fresh out of the box, practically, which means I
have not had the time to mess up anything yet.

Thanks for the response.
