Entourage opens 137 times

When I open the Entourage, it opens itself 137 times. What kind of problem is this?? Virus? Bug?

Who can help me quickly?

do you mean it opens 137 browser windows?

if so, just hit cmd-option-W and all the windows will close. Reopen a
mail view window and quit entourage.

I have seen this on Windows years ago. It was a bug where if you clicked on
an email address in internet explorer, outlook would open 137 times. At the
time I searched the web and found a registry hack that fixed it, but on the
MAC I can't tell you. All I can say is I've seen this before on Windows
myself, and eventually fixed it with a registry setting.

Do you mean it open 137 windows?

Delete the preference file, manually close each window then rebuild the
database.

~Library/Preferences/Microsoft/Entourage Preferences

Entourage 2008 now allows users to Option-click on the red close button.
