Entourage-Palm "Hot Sync"

T

I've just updated from Office X to Office 2004. I had been "Hot
Syncing" Entourage calendar with my Palm Tungsten "E" in the older
version, but cannot seem to link with Office 2004.

Do I need an updated Palm driver to accomplish this......Or what?

I am also having a problem printing the weekly calendar receiving the
following message "Unknown error - 30876 occurred". Any help on this?
The monthly calendar does print. Go figure!
Thanks for any help you can give.

You must update the Entourage Sync conduit with the one that came in the
Additional Tools folder on your Office 2004 CD (or now in your Microsoft
Office 2004 folder in Applications).

dude: I need your help desperately... Here is my post:

I am an idiot... My wife and I on on our way to a conference where we have
50 scheduled meetings. In order to be very cool (instead of writing the
schedule down from the calendar section of Entourage), I thought I'd hot
sync the calendar into her Treo 600. So I performed the hot sync .... All
our her carefully scheduled appointments were wiped out. Additionally, all
of her contacts in the treo were wiped out also. This is not helping out my
marriage and I have been told to sleep on the couch.

I performed a hot sync with my wife's Treo 600 using Microsoft Office 2004,
mac OS 10.3.7. Any chance the entourage data is on her mac somewhere
(possibility waiting to be re-imported...???!!!)

What can I do to get her (1) appointments back into her entourage, and (2)
contacts back into the treo.

Thank you... Hurry, it's cold on the couch!!

Sorry, I saw your post earlier but assumed someone with more direct
knowledge of your situation might provide better help. Are you using
Missing Sync or the Palm HotSync Manager? Either way, if you had Backup
conduit active, it should have made a backup of your data before syncing.
If so, double-click on the Backup Conduit and change the preference from
Backup to Restore from Backup. That should restore the previous backup. If
it wasn't backed up, I think you are screwed and doomed to the couch
forever!

It sounds like you might have a corrupt printing form. Delete this folder:
/Users/<Your User>/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Printing Forms/

It will be recreated next time you print something, most likely eliminating
the corruption that did not allow you to print earlier.
