Entourage Password Error

I am lost and looking for help. I have a few users on my network that are
getting this error message.

It says:
"The server for your account returned the error 'logon failed--unknown user
name or bad password.' Your username/password settings or security settings
may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?"

I've reinstalled Office X and the patch. I deleted the prefs numerous times.
I even deleted the account off the exchange server and recreated it. There
has to be a file I am missing that is corrupt on the Mac. Does anyone have
any idea what this could be? The way I resolved it the first time was to
wipe out the mac. I don't won't to continue to do this because it's time
consuming.

We are running Office X with patch 10.1.4 on OS 10.2.8. Any help is
appreciated.

This message will pop up every once in a while if the mac has a problem
connecting to the network or mail server. This can be due to intermittent or
network traffic problems. If you can normally get mail OK, and this message
pops up once in a while, 'Just Say No', and the schedule should connect OK
next time.

This message comes up every time I try to access my Hotmail from Entourage.
This just started this week. It asks for my password, and then my password
does not work. My other mail continues to work just fine. I can also access
my Hotmail from the Hotmail web site.

This reminds me of early summer 2001, when hotmail changed it's security
setup and Entourage would not work for quite a long time.
