Entourage pop acct and sending mail

I saw about three messages on the bulletin board that indicate others are
having a similar problem as I....but no answers yet.

Problem: I just got cable broadband (Road Runner) and want to use Entourage
for my mail program on a Mac ibook. I set it all up and am receiving mail
but I can't seem to send it (via a POP account). Any ideas?

What happens when you try? How do you have your account configured? Are you
using the settings listed at
<http://help.rr.com/getpage.asp?/faqs/e_emailserveraddys.html>? What
authentication settings are you using, if any?
