entourage problems

I have been reading most posts regarding the same problem i've been
having...which is...

Recieving the following error message "This identity cannot be opened
with this version of Entourage"

Here is what I've done thus far...

I have downloaded and installed "Office update 2004 11.3.9" + "Office
X 10.1.9"

I have gone in and repaired\rebuilt the database. (I can open
entourage if I move the database out of documents) Of course, if I do
this, entourage opens with a complete blank slate. (No contacts, e-
mails etc..)

Also I've done an "Archive & Install" back to the original OS X
install version. Applied the combo updater and restarted. Repaired
permissions.

This all happened over night. Everything was fine yesterday. I've
added/changed nothing.

Very Desperate here...has all my business contacts & calaedar for
jobs, Any help greatly appreciated.

Your database was created by a version of Entourage that is newer than the
version which you are currently running. If you apply all the latest
updates, you should have no problem accessing your database again. To update
Entourage 2004, you will need to download the combo updater 11.3.5 first,
then apply all the updates that follow it, i.e. from 11.3.6 up to 11.3.9.
Better yet, use the Microsoft AutoUpdate application inside your
Applications folder.

Note: you mention both 11.3.9 and 10.1.9. Which version of Office are you
currently using? If you have used Office 2004 up to this point, but switched
back to Office v.X, you cannot access your database anymore. As I've said
before, you need to run the latest version of Entourage, otherwise, it won't
work. Any database modified by Entourage "n+1" cannot be opened by Entourage
"n"; instead, you will need to launch Entourage "n+1", export your data and
import it back into Entourage "n".

If you downloaded and installed 11.3.5 update and still receive this
error message, restart your Operating System.

All that worked really well...:) :) at least I can now access my files
again.
One last question...when it loaded back,,I've apparently lost the last
60-90 days of data in
"mail" and "calendar" probably addresss book also, but have not
checked addresses. Can I recover this lost data???
