Entourage project center: Mark project as "complete" or otherwise hide?

I keep going back on forth on the usefulness of the project center to
me. One thing that mitigates against its usefulness is that I like to
think of a project as almost anything that takes multiple steps, so I
have lots of them. As I complete them, I want them to go away. I
suppose I could just delete them as I finish them (underlying stuff
remains intact, right?), but then there's always the chance that I'll
have to reactivate one.

Suggestions?

I notice that if you create several tasks in a Project. Then tick them off
one-by-one as done, that they, in fact, appear, lined-through, under the
schedule tab, where you can resuscitate them, if you so desire. I'm just
starting working with Entourage. I mean I got my iMac on Saturday. Got it
sitting next to my older WinXP box now, moving things over. I think
Entourage will work for me. Art

If you do figure out how to integrate it into your work or home life,
let us know! I gave up on it a year ago, and have been happy ever
since.

Hi

One thing you can do with Project files is to archive them. Simply go to
File > Export and select that you want to archive a project. Select the
project from the drop-down that appears. Select the types of files you
want to archive and click the 'next' button (bottom right). In the next
screen you get the choice of whether to keep the archived items in
Entourage or not. Click 'next' and choose where to store your archive
file. Done.

You can always import the project later to check on something.
