Entourage Public Folder trouble

I've got the latest version & updates of Mac Entourage 2004.

After applying the latest patch, I noticed that I could not delete email out
of my Public Folders. The buttons for Delete, Flag, Junk, Move, Category,
and Project are greyed out and inoperable.

We've tried resetting permissions. Everything is set so I should be able to
do this, but can't.

Any suggestions?

Our server support person had to apply a patch to the Exchange server
to make this work properly. However, this patch caused several other
problems which had to be resolved with another patch.
