Entourage pulling hidden addresses from directory

Mark N.

We're getting ready to migrate from Outlook 2001 to Entourage 2004 and have
three beta users testing it for us. One big problem is that Entourage is
pulling up every available e-mail address from the active directory, even if
they've been hidden. We have 65 users and probably 200 hidden addresses
used for all kinds of specialty things and having them appear will drive our
users bonkers.
Is there a way to keep Entourage from pulling the addresses that are hidden
from Exchange 2000?

Thanks!
Mark

Hi Mark,

It's probably because the adresses are not hidden through LDAP (even
though they are through MAPI).
Is there a way to keep Entourage from pulling the addresses that are hidden

Remove the LDAP server information from the Exchange accout settings
(but then you lose all the LDAP for Entourage),.

Not sure what to do about this :-(

I believe that this would prevent Entourage users from pulling names from
the GAL?
