Entourage quits. Messages disappear. Error

I've been having troubles with my mail messages in Entourage lately.
The "inbox" and "sent messg" folders all temporarily erase messages.
Instead of the message subjects, name etc. I get a grey line, (or 10,
one per erased message). If I try to click over the lines, Entourage
quits.
It's getting worse every day, now I cannot even open the calendar
folder at all, it's all a big ensemble of grey lines and I get the
message error 4362. Same thing with the "deleted messages" folder

I'm going CRAZY!!!!! what's going on? Can someone help me??

Try rebuilding the database. If you're in Entourage X, start by going to
Entourage -> Turn Off Office Notifications. Now, quit Entourage, and then
restart Entourage holding down the Option key. When the Rebuild dialog box
comes up, choose to do a Typical Rebuild. If that doesn't work, repeat the
same steps, instead choosing to do the Advanced Rebuild.
