Entourage quits when I click on a particular E-mail

Entourge 2001 always quits when I click on an E-mail from a trusted
source that has a .PDF attachment. I cannot put the E-mail in the
trash since it quits when I highlight it. How do I get rid of this
E-mail and what do I tell the sender to do. Other people have been
able to open the attachment (mainly photos).

Have you tried launching with the option key held down, to do that database
cleanup/compress thingy?

Turn off the preview pane. Then you should be able to select it and delete
it.

A couple of ideas:

1. Get rid of the preview pane. View menu, Preview Pane, None.

2. Select another email first, then select the problem email as well,
delete them both, then drag the one you want to keep out of the trash.
