Entourage quitting

Hi

Entourage has been a bit slow and flaky on me for a while, quitting several
times a week. Hotmail in particular has been problematic, causing Entourage
to hang whenever I delete multiple messages at once.

Today, however, in Hotmail view, the heading pane was blanked out where six
or so headings should have been. (The messages before and after it were
still there). Soon afterwards, Entourage quit on me and every time I reopen
it quits immediately unless I can quickly switch out of Hotmail view. As
soon as I return to Hotmail it quits again.

I've tried deleting the most recent messages by visiting Hotmail on the web
but Entourge still quits.

I was running Entourage 10.1.4 but after this experience I tried updating to
10.1.6. NO change.

I'm running OS 10.4.6 on a Powerbook G4

Any thoughts?

Try rebuilding the database. In Entourage X, first go to Entourage > Turn
Off Office Notifications. Now, quit Entourage, and then restart Entourage
holding down the Option key. When the Rebuild dialog box comes up, choose
to do a Typical Rebuild. If that does not fix the problem, repeat the
procedure, instead opting to do the Advanced Rebuild.
