Entourage removing mail from serve on 2nd get

Weird problem.....

I have a yahoo account and a gmail account set up the same way:

³Leave message on server²

The problem is when I receive an email from the gmail account on the next
auto send/receive it removes the message and I am not able to get it from my
mail app that I use on a laptop. (I leave Entourage open on home computer
all day)

What setting do I have wrong?

The Yahoo account doesn¹t have this problem. It leaves the message up until
I take it down.

You aren't doing anything wrong. It is a problem with GMail.

Thanks Keysaw for answering.
I was just looking at some of Google help docs and I believe one answer is
to put ³RECENT:² in front of the username in the account settings.
This may have started another problem of everything you send from a client
(Entourage or AppleMail) will also be sent to you but I¹ll look into that
now.

But putting ³recent:[email protected]² in the account ID is keeping the messages
there for claiming by other machines or apps. (you being your username)
