Entourage Running very SLOWLY

When switching between Mail, Address and Calendar Entourage is taking up to
5-10 seconds to move from one mode to the other. I am on a G5 tower and this
has never happened before. I have run Norton and done other cleanup issues
and no resolve???

I have seen problems after using Norton. What functions did you use?

Switch to a new Identity in Entourage and see what happens when you switch
between Mail, Address Book and Calendar. If it is slow with an empty
database, then it¹s something in your system. Open Activity Monitor in
Applications> Utility folder. Click on the CPU tab at the bottom and then
select %CPU in the column header. This will give you an idea of what is
going on at the time you are experiencing slowdowns.

If it is not slow, then what size is your database? How much RAM do you
have? How many Applications do you normally have open.

An additional question; Are you using project and if yes, did you create
projects with numerous e-mails addresses (and therefore e-mails)
attached to them ??
