Hello,
Stranged problem just started to happen on my MAC. I'm running OS
10.2.8 with Office X. (not 2004). Last Friday I was able to send an
receive mail just fine, then suddenly when it went to send and
receive, it froze up. I tried things manually after Force Quitting and
I was able to send, but not receive. I don't get any error messages,
nothing. It just sits there until I force quit.
According to our network administator, all my network and account
settings are correct, as they should be. I didn't do anything to them!
I ran Disk Doctor, First Aid, uninstalled the entire Office X suite,
reinstalled it, deleted an old 2001 folder with an old identity in it
and it work fine the rest of the day and then again this morning, but
NOW, it's not working again. I don't have a clue what to look for now.
The tech guys I work with are PC/Windows guys so I don't want them to
start monkeying around with my MAC. I've tried everything I can think
and was hoping for another idea here on the boards. I'm also going to
try the Apple boards, as their response time seems to be soooo much
quicker than this one.
Thanks for any input.
