entourage sent emails lost when dragged to a folder

When I drag my "sent" emails into a folder, I lose them. I don't lose

I¹m assuming you mean to drag the sent messages into an Entourage folder.

There is no reason they would be lost. Are they still in the Sent folder?
How many are you trying to drag?

You might try the ³Move to² option rather than drag. There is an icon in the
Entourage window for ³Move to², or you can use the menu item under Message
in the top menu bar.

I am dragging the sent email to an Entourage folder. I did the "Move

it, and then all of a sudden it doesn't do it anymore. I am wondering
if I have a bug on my computer since other things have been a little
strange. Thanks.

Try selecting a smaller number of messages to see if this is the problem.

You might want to use a rule to move sent messages instead of having to do
it manually. See this page for how to save sent messages to a different
folder.

I save my newsgroup sent messages separately but all of my POP and IMAP
accounts get stored in the regular sent folder. What¹s great about Entourage
is it allows flexibility for individual preferences.
