Entourage shared calendar without Exchange?

I have an office with about 10 Entourage 2004 users who need to see each
others calendars. Editing another users users calendar is not a requirement,
at this point at least. What are the available solutions out there for
setting this up, aside from installing a local Exchange server or using
hosted Exchange accounts?

Hi Chris!

If you're wanting to access other user's calendars from within Entourage
then Exchange is about your only option.

Some available solutions to share iCal calendars on a local network
exist, but the only way you can get that information into Entourage is
via Sync Services. This, however, syncs only one calendar called
"Entourage". The rest of the data is not synchronized.

While attending the MVP Summit at Microsoft back in April one of the
comments on my "wish list" for a future version of Entourage was to
include CalDAV support. Apple's iCalendar server and Google Calendar
(soon?) support CalDAV, which is an open standard for sharing calendar data.

Please be sure to let Microsoft know you'd like to see this feature or
something similar in future versions by using the Help --> Send Feedback
mechanism in any Office application.
