Entourage shortcuts don't work after backing up Main Identity

I recently backed up my Entourage database, and find that now my
keyboard shortcuts don't work? Does anyone have any suggestions for
getting these to work again?

Usually quitting and re-launching Entourage will solve that. Have you tried
it?

If that doesn't work, which would surprise me, did you try creating a new
identity (Entourage > Switch Identity) and testing keyboard shortcuts there?

Yes I tried both and same result.

he only thing I could find that worked was to completely reinstall
Entourage.
