I'm new to the group but I'm hoping someone out there has encountered
this before. I have a user (OSX 10.3.5, Office 2004) whose Entourage
opens very slowly when he launches. Also, it spawns multiple
instances of Entourage. For a long time it spawned eight copies on
launch; now it only spawns two windows. (I didn't change anything to
make that happen, either, which I find worrisome.) I've tried
removing his identity from "<username>/Documents/Microsoft User
Data/Office 2004", and trashed the Entourage preferences in
"<username>/Library/Preferences/Microsoft". This had no effect; the
application still takes forever to launch and then opens two Entourage
windows. Has anyone in the group seen this before? And if so, how
did you resolve the issue? Thanks in advance,
