Am I the only one having lost the notify icon in a calender event? The
small bell icons has dissap. from the entire calendar.

How good is that Microsoft?

This may be a result of the recent security update from Apple that also
caused the project 'dots' to disappear.

It may be a bit premature to blame Microsoft...
