Entourage starts at the beginning

Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

I have had 2008 Entourage up and running for 2 weeks. Twice now when I start the program it takes me to the very beginning. All my emails are gone and I have to set up my accounts, signatures, etc...

Entourage expects all your data to be saved in the Microsoft User Data
folder in your Documents folder. Is it still located there?

If so, see if you can get your old identity to show up by choosing Switch
Identity from the Entourage menu.

Hi Adam, thanks for the assist. I think I found the problem. I have two Microsoft User data folders. One is under Documents and the other is in a folder I created called Other (In documents) I tried to rename the Main Identitiy under Other but cant. Should I move it back to the User Data folder under Documents and replace the one there?

got it. I replaced the newest MS User data witht he older one and everything works fine. lesson learned... dont move the MS User data file
