Entourage Strips Attachments

I wrote to the newsgroup on July 13 about Entourage stripping off
attachments from email. Dave Cortright responded with a few suggestions,
but so far I don't have a solution.

Has anybody else had this problem? Any suggestions? Please check posts on
that date to see previous thread and what I've tried so far. Wasn't having the
problem until I moved to Office 2004.

I'd appreciate help -- this is a drag.

Hi there,

yesterday a friend told me that he had the same problems.
He got a PDF file that was originaly 3 meg in size and entourage
attachment displays a size of about 7 meg. After saving the file to the
desktop the original file size was restored but the file was damaged.
Same with .sit files.
The same Mail received from the same pop server with apple mail is ok.

Any suggetsions
This also appeared first with Office 2004

There was an issue with entourage stripping the final linefeed from an
attached pdf file, but that was fixed in one of the updates. Make sure your
friend has applied all the latest updates, available at
<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/>
