Entourage strips .pdf attachments on forward

I often receive e-mails with .pdf attachments. Occasionally, I need to forward them. Whenever I choose forward, Entourage strips the .pdf files from the message. I can forward everything else.

And, to add to the confusion, I can manually attach .pdfs to the e-mail.

I've checked all the preferences, rules, schedules: in short, everything I can think of, but I still cannot forward .pdfs.

Use Forward as Attachment.

I tested sending as a simple forward and forward as attachment. Both worked.
The size of the PDF was 4.47MB.

It's possible if the .pdf is large that it could be stripped.

Entourage 2008 will not show jpgs in the message if they are over 400kb.
