Has anyone been successful in Synchronizing of Entouragewith Palm? I
have a Palm Lifedrive. I need help in getting the email, contacts,
tasks and calendar synchronized.

Thanks.

I have just upgraded to a LifeDrive from a Tungsten C. My Entourage
2004 Conduit works fine with my Tungsten. However, I have just tried
to sync with my new LifeDrive (after installing the Palm Desktop
software from the new CD), and I get this message: "To allow
synchronization to proceed, use the Conduit Settings dialog to turn off
the extra conduits for this user, or drag the extra conduits to the
Disabled Conduits folder. Se the HotSync Log for details." The Log
shows that Entourage is the problem. I have checked the Enable sync
with new devices box on my Entourage conduit settings. Do I remove the
coduit and then reinstall? There's really nothing about upgrading on
the Palm or Microsft sites that I can find, so I'm at a bit of a loss.

Thanks!

First, quit HotSync Manager. Then, in your hard drive, navigate to
/Library/Application Support/Palm HotSync/Conduits/. Make sure all Palm
Desktop conduits ("Address Conduit", "Calendar Conduit", "Contacts Conduit",
"Datebook Conduit", "Memo Conduit", "Memos Conduit", "Photos Conduit",
"Tasks Conduit", "ToDo Conduit", and "Voice Memo Conduit") are stored in the
"Disabled Conduits" folder within the "Palm HotSync" folder. That should
allow synchronziation to proceed.
