Entourage Tasks and Exchange Server.

Hi there,

We've finally got Entourage communicating seamlessly with our Exchange
Server (after jumping through a whole bunch of certificate hoops, which
wasn't clearly documented anywhere).

But now, the final problem remains:

Why doesn't Entourage synchronize with the TASKS on the Exchange
Server?

Did the Microsoft BU just completely overlook this totally important
piece of functionality?

Can anybody please tell me if there is ANYTHING I can do to get my
Entourage tasks to communicate with the tasks on my Exchange server?

Thanks,
Scott

I think the short answer is no, Engourage doesn't synch the tasks with
the Exchange Server. Neither do notes. Yeah, it kind of stinks. I can't
imagine why it was done that way.

Here's hoping that they fix this with the next iteration of Office.

This is a real bummer. Do you have any idea how we can get this
important feature suggestion to the MacBU? I mean, I know Microsoft
isn't known for listening to their customers, but it's at least worth a
try for me to get the word to them.

Thanks for any guidance you can give! :)

Take care,

There is a send feeback link you can use in Entourage.
(but I am quite sure they are aware that a lot of people would like
that).

What might be true of MS in general doesn't appear so for the MacBU (as
far as I am can see anyway). We asked for Spotlight, we have it, We
asked for SyncServices, we have it. Now some features might be easier to
implement than others.... (and there might be things higher on the
priority list than others).
