Entourage Temp Folder

Everyone,

Just wondering about this folder. Some of my users have nothing inside this
folder and some of my users have 1000's of items inside there. I am just
wondering what are these items, (especially the files named Blck-and some
numbers), how are they created, and why are they not deleted automatically,
do they cause any problems with Entourage, and finally can I get rid of them
all.

Entourage stores copies of in-line rich-text objects in this folder.
For example, if you preview an HTML message with a image, it will
store the image there temprarily. I think it is supposed to empty the
folder upon quitting; but since Entourage is amost always open on my
machine, I periodically empty it manually. If Entourage is using a file
in the directory, it won't let you empty the Trash, but I've found no
adverse impact.
