Entourage/Tiger: message gone missing...

After I read a message and close it, it dissappears! It's not in the
inbox anymore, it's not in deleted messages, it's gone gone gone. This
is not good. This is a new problem, and has appeared since starting to
work on a new G5 with Tiger. Any suggestions?

Look under the 'View' menu - is your inbox set to show 'unread only'?
