Entourage Type 3 Error

Someone PLEASE help me!

I can't receive or send any email through Entourage. I keep getting a Type 3
Error before I even start receiving any email. What could be the problem? I
have reinstalled Entourage several times, but my same preferences keep
returning. I even deleted the preferences files, but still get the same
thing. Any suggestions?

Are you on OS 9? Type 3 sounds like a Finder error if I remember correctly.
What version of Entourage?
How much RAM?
How big is your hard drive? Is it full?
What OS do you have installed?

When you reinstalled Entourage did you use "Remove Office" . More info on
"Remove Office" here:

Drag Macintosh HD/System Folder/Preferences/Internet Preferences to the
Desktop. Re-launch Entourage and see if it crashes. If it still does, move
the Internet Preferences file back. If it does not crash, you can trash the
Internet Preferences files.

If that doesn't work, see this:
Recently, malformed junk mail has exploited a bug in the Junk Mail Filter
included with Entourage X and 2001 that causes the entire program to crash
when Entourage attempts to download and process the message. Microsoft has
posted a workaround at their web site:
