Entourage update 12.2.0 causes freeze

Help! I'm a Mac person and don't begin to know how to fix/undo this problem. I updated as recommended, restarted the computer. When I try to retrieve mail or do anything in accounts, the program freezes.

Do I uninstall? how? Suggestions?

There is no way to uninstall an update. If you have a backup copy of the
Office for Mac folder in Applications, you can simply copy it back.

Do your other Office applications freeze?

Check this file to see if it shows 12.2.0 (SP2)

/Applications/Microsoft Office
2008/Office/MicrosoftComponentPlugin.framework/Versions/12/MicrosoftComponen
tPlugin

I am having the same trouble with Entourage only. All other Office apps work
fine. I checked my Mac HD and discovered that all the office apps have a
version number of 12.2.0 except Entourage which shows version 12.1.0.
EntourageSynchronization.framework, EntourageLegacy.framework, EntourageCore.
framework, and EntourageCAPI.framework all show version 12.2.0. Shouldn't
they all be the same?
