I am trying to coordinate on my G4 the ability to sync my treo700P with
my institution's exchange server. I would like to be able to hotsync
with my laptop's Entourage using the Entourage conduit and also use
versamail to wireless sync using the Exchange activesync account on the
same server. Is this possible?

Okay, first tip: Buy Missing Sync if you haven't. The Palm software is crap.
That's the kindest word for it. Missing Sync is WELL worth the money.

On the Entourage side, are you allowed to just set up an Exchange account in
E'rage? If so, that will take care of Calendars and contacts.

If your Treo can directly sync Contacts and calendars with your Exchange
server then you don't need to sync those with the Treo. That leaves Notes
and Tasks.

if you have Mac OS X 10.4 and at the current version of E'rage, then what I
would do is use Missing Sync. Set up E'rage to use Sync Services for your
*exchange* calendars and contacts. That way, your system has the same data.

Set up your palm to talk to Exchange. Now all you have to do between the
palm and e'rage is to sync tasks and notes. Let Missing Sync handle that,
via Sync Services, and you're set.
