Is your Microsoft User Data folder in the usual place in [Startup
Disk]/Users/ [username]/Documents/Microsoft User Data, or is it somewhere
else, not on the startup disk?

1) Go to /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility/First Aid, and Repair Disk
Permissions. Does that help?

2) If not, go to [Startup Disk]/Users/ [username]/Library/Microsoft/ and
remove Carbon Registration Database. Does that help?

3) If not, get your Office v. X CD and install Office Remover from the Value
Pack. Run it (it won't touch your data), and empty the trash. Reinstall
Office v. X from the CD, then (re-)install Office 10.1.2, 10.1.4 and 10.1.5
Updaters from the MacTopia website. That will fix it.
