Entourage will not start

Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Power PC
Email Client: pop

Please help.

After using the MAC settings transfer wizard to move files and settings to a new computer the Entourage program on the old computer will not work. All other Office 2004 programs work fine. I tried uninstall and re-install. I have repaired the hard drive. I have updated to latest version. I do not receive any error message the program just doesn't start.

Any suggestions?

Exactly what problems are you having? This seems strange that your OLD copy
is not working rather than the new one.

When you install on a new computer (unless it's a student and teacher's
version) you should remove it from the old computer.

Accessing the same account from two different computers can result in
problems.

I had to reinstall MicroSoft OFFICE 2008 because Word would not launch. After reinstalling Entourage will not start. Dialog box says "this identity will not work with this version of Entourage" any ideas

Update!!

"This Identity Cannot Be Opened With This Version of Entourage"
This message usually means, for example, any Identity saved with a 12.1.0 or
later version will not open in 12.0.0 or 12.0.1. Since there was a database
format change in 12.1.0 (SP1), Entourage 12.0.0 or 12.0.1 cannot open a
database saved in the later version.
