Entourage will send but not receive.

I have been using Entourage for a few years. I recently began havin
some problems on both my g4 tower and my g4 powerbook. The powerboo
version of Entourage no longer receives or sends any mail --offering a
error code of 3000 something. The most problematic now is my deskto
version not being able to receive. I've checked all of the accoun
settings and verified them again with my ISP. The error code is 7010
Anyone have a clue?

P.S. has anyone ever uninstalled Entourage? I'm thinking perhaps I'
like to try to export the folders for safe keeping then reinstall th
software on both laptop and desktop as a "final fix" attempt. What i
the proceedure- simply trash "everything Entourage"? I dunno, does thi
make sense as a fix or is there something less drastic and mor
efficient? Please advise

I had similar problem with my G5 . In my case the problem was with my
keychains, they had somehow become corrupted. I did a search for
"keychain" to find the keychain access utilities application. I then
opened that application and clicked on Keychain First Aid under the
header "window". I analyzed and then repaired my keychains. It didn't
completely fix it the first time and I think you may have to reset your
keychains, but that was definately where the problem originated.

Which ISP are you having this issue with? It sounds like they may have
changed something on the server if more than one machine is having the
issue.

Please expand on the different errors you are getting and I¹ll see if I can
find out what they mean.
