Entourage with Exchange error 3260

I'm new to MAC, i configured my entourage to connect with our exchange
server, the problem is that i can receive e-mail's but i cann't send
any i'm getting the following error

"Mail could not be sent using the account "akalantar - Exchange
Account."

and the explenation is

" A connection failure has occurred."

Yep, I'm having the same problem. I'm NOT new to mac, but cannot
seem to figure out how to send through the exchange server. I've
downloaded the latest updates to entourage and should be able to let
entourage set up everything for me. The only problem is that
entourage never sees the exchange server! HELP!

Micky, that article from the Microsoft Knowledge Base was no help. I
can't pick up mail from my account because of error -3260, and that's
from my ISP's mail server, not Exchange. Morevover, Entourage has
worked find until today. It simply stopped working, throwing the error
instead. I can send mail through Entourage, and I can pick up mail
using Apple's Mail client. The problem is Entourage. If you can help
with what that problem is exactly, please advise. But after a Google
search, I can tell you the Microsoft docs I've seen do not deal with
whatever is going on.
