Entourage won't get mail

I'm running OS 10.4.9. Entourqge opens, but when I try to get mail, it
quits. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Take a look at the crash log (in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter) and see
why it crashed.

Download and install the latest Office X update, which is 10.1.9. It's
available from Microsoft.

If that doesn't help, it's possible that there is a corrupt e-mail message
in your mailbox. Try opening your mailbox using a webmail interface.
Delete any junk mail messages, and try downloading your mail in Entourage
again.
