Entourage won't open

I installed Office 2001 in my iBook. Each time I try to open Entourage I get
a message that I don't have access to Entourage and I have to remove
something in the Identities folder from the Application folder. I've
searched for these things but can't find them. Any help would be
appreciated.

Can you post the full error message? That may help.

"You do not have write access to the Entourage application folder. To run
Entourage you must have the Administrative user remove the Identities folder
from the Application folder"

I am the administrator.

This is a very strange error message. The identities folder should not be in
the application folder at all - all of entourage's data files are stored in
the 'Microsoft User Data' folder (the MUD folder) in your user's documents
folder.

I would suspect that something screwy has happened to your file permissions.
Try running 'repair permissions' in Apple's Disk Utility.
