Entourage X 10.1.5 and Exchange Server 2003: Calendar sync problem

I've enabled Entourage to have an Exchange account in an environment
that uses Exchange Server 2003. Contacts sync fine, e-mail is fine.
However, aside from some Outlook-to-Entourage calendar duplicate
entries for a one-month period only, there does not appear to be any
significant synchronization going on with both calendars. If I enter a
new item in the Entourage calendar, it does not appear in the Outlook
calendar. WebDAV is set up and I would assume that if the Contacts
sync fine, that would imply that the calendars are seeing one another
as well, or am I mistaken? I've experimented with secure DAV settings,
etc. and am not sure what will enable this to work. Any thoughts are
appreciated-thanks!

Setup:

Client: Entourage 10.1.5, Mac OS 10.3
Server: Exchange Server 2003, WebDAV, IMAP, etc. all enabled

yes, you are right. calendar should also synch fine if contacts are synching
as synch process for both is identical (WebDAV calls). you must have already
tested it, but still make sure that its not working whether you create an
appointment thru outlook or OWA, it does not appear in Entourage and what
about the other way. make sure you have given it more than enough time to
perform this synch, like I personally will leave entourage running over
night and check it in the morning. if it still does not work, see if
troubleshooting steps here help you.

you will then have to finally take some traces of synch process using
tcpflow to analyze what's going on in the background.
