entourage x connectivity with exchange server

Hi,

I have exchange server 2k3 on win 2k3. I have our contact addresses in
Active Directory. I can access these contacts using outlook 2003 in PC.

But I am having trouble to access same address book on Mac OS X using
entourage v.x 10.1.4 (in lan environment).
I created a new exchange server account in entourage. It gives me following
error -
"An error occured on the IMAP server"
Explanation :
" A connection Failure has occurred"
Error: -3260

Any help will be appreciable.

You'll need to use LDAP to access the GAL from within Entourage,
But I am having trouble to access same address book on Mac OS X using
entourage v.x 10.1.4 (in lan environment).

That may be that the account is not setup properly, or that the server is
simply not running IMAP...
Nevertheless, you'll still need to setup LDAP (through the exchange account
or directly as a directory service,

I recommend you update to Entourage 2004. It a much better user experience,
and the update should be freely available as a CAL seat for your Exchange
server.
