Entourage X & drive space on OSX 10.3.4

Ive been working on a PowerBook G4 that has 1.3G of free space on the
HD at startup. When I load Entourage X, the app takes FOREVER to
load, and uses an additional 900mB of space on the harddrive. The
user's database file is only about 400mB, so Im confused as to where
the additional 500mB is coming from. Also, Entourage is currently
using 142mB of RAM & 1.03GIG(!!!!) of Virtual memory. Does anyone
have any idea whats going on? I havent been able to find anything
useful on Microsoft's website.
