Entourage X Mac quits when I delete trash

Entourage "unexpectedly quits" whenever I select all in the deleted items
folder and push delete. Is there an easier way to delete the trash?

I am running Mac system 10.1.5 on an I-book.

Thank you in advance for any light that can be shed.

You need to rebuild the database.
