Entourage X not showing certain all-day events in week view

One of my users is entering birthdays into Entourage X 10.1.4 as
all-day events. Starting from a certain date (March something), none
of the events occuring on Mondays show up in the week view. They do
however, show up in the month view. I haven't confirmed their presence
in the day view. Events on other days of the week do show up even in
the week view. This is very weird, but since other people have been
problems all-day events not displaying, maybe there is a solution I
have overlooked?

I think you'd better rebuild the database (hold down Option key at launch).
Typical might fix this one. If not, repeat but choose Advanced.

thanks for the advice. Two rebuilds later, the events already entered still
don't show up in the week view, but at least newly entered events do.
