entourage x profile crashes

Hello.

I have a client that is using entourage v.x from office v.x and has multiple
profiles for the email accounts that he has.

The main profile when you go to open it it caused entourage to crash and
give a "not reponding error and has closed. This has not affected other
applications"

This does not occur with any other of the profiles.

I have check permissions which was my first through and tried some of the
trouble shooting steps found in the kb but none of them worked.

The one thing I noticed too was the database file for that profile was 2.1gb
in size, i moved the database file out and seems to work fine, move it back
in and then same problems.

Im guessing that the database file somehow corrupted. Would I beable to
still retrieve stuff out of it?

If he has not applied the updates to office vX, then he has exceeded the
maximum size for a database - it was originally 2Gb, but was raised to 4Gb
in an update. If that is so, he can try applying the updates and then
opening the corrupt database, but even this is unlikely to work.

He should apply the updates anyway, there are some useful security, feature
and stability improvements in there!
