Hello: I don't check my junk mail folder often (don't use the filter;
I've set up rules that work reasonably well). I happened to check it,
and found two dozen emails from people in my address book that had
been classified as junk starting in mid-September. The thing is, it
did so inconsistently. During that same period, other emails from the
same people were not junked. I checked and none of the email addresses
of the senders had been assigned to the "Junk" category in my address
book. (I also made sure that their email addresses hadn't changed --
they hadn't.) There were a few other legitimate emails classified as
junk that weren't in my address book -- but from senders who had sent
me other emails during that same period that weren't junked. I am
mystified, and would appreicate any suggestions, especially about how
the supposedly inviolable rule that "emails from senders in your
address book will never be classified as junk" was violated! Many
thanks.
