Entourage X startup problem

Hi,
I'm encountering a problem with Entourage quitting on startup. After
downloading a few emails I get the prompt "Entourage unexpectedly Quit. I
was able to get into the edit schedules and disabled the send and receive on
startup. Entourage will now stay open and I can access the news groups read
what mail was downloaded and delete mail in the deleted items folder. Once I
manually click on Send & receive, Entourage will quit. I'm using Microsoft
Office X version 10.1.4. Any help will be appreciated.

Recently, malformed junk mail has exploited a bug in the Junk Mail Filter
included with Entourage X and 2001 that causes the entire program to crash
when Entourage attempts to download and process the message. Microsoft has
posted a fix at their web site:

Entourage 2004 includes improvements that allows it to download most of the
commonly-received junk messages that crashed earlier versions. However,
there might now be new types of messages that crash Entourage 2004 as well.

If you are crashing on receiving mail, it could be due to a corrupt
message on the server. Work through the steps on the "Crashes" page on The
Entourage Help Page.
