Entourage2004 database

Hi,

I have deleted around 5000+ emails in my Entourage 2004. After I Emptied
the trash can, I check on my entourage database at
\\username\documents\microsoft user data\2004 identites\main\database, and
it turns out to be the same size as I didn't deleted those 5000+ emails? Is
the database suppose to have a constant space like this? I remember when I
deleted emails in Entourage X, the database will shrink...

Hi there,

Hold down your option key when opening Entourage. This will give you access
to the DB utility that will allow you to clean up your DB.

Entourage X was the same tho' - so I don't know how yours "shrunk". :)
