Entrouage saves contactws as emails

Jeff

We have just recently switched from Outlook 2001 to Entourage and everything
seems to work fine except for the contact list. All contact lists are in
the form
of individual emails.

Is this normal or is there something I need to do to fix the problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can email me direct at
[email protected]

Hi Jeff
I have few questions

1. How did you do the migration of the messages? Did you do any form of
Export/Import or just connect Entourage to the
Exchange server?
2. If you use Outlook 2001 under classic mode do you get the same results?
Or does this revert back to the typical view under Outlook
2001?
3. What is exchange server you are using?
4. Are you using IMAP ?

Narendra

I'm not quite sure what the issue is.

Do you mean that users' personal contact lists from the server don't show up
in the Address Book? If so, see this:
-----------------------
This was posted earlier:
"On the exchange server IIS interface. Make sure in properties of the
default web site, on the Web Site tab, "HTTP keep-alives enabled" is
checked. Once this is done, all Entourage clients free/busy info is updated
and can schedule appointments seeing user data on exchange."

Also, see the tips here:
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exup_entx.html#exup13>

If situation #1 is the case, see Note #15:
<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/exchange/exup_entx.html#exupnotes>
-----------------------

Do you mean that you can't access the Global Address List? If so, make sure
that the settings under the "Directory" tab for your Exchange account are
correct, and then go to Tools > Directory Services to query the Global
Address List.

Do you mean that contacts stored in public folders don't seem to be
accessible in Entourage? If so, that's a known issue. Your request here
should be logged. Alternatively, you can send feedback using the web form.
In Entourage X or 2004, go to Help > Send Feedback on Entourage. Otherwise,
click on this direct link to enter Mac Product Feedback:
