Is there an easy way to wipe out the content of Contact or Calendar?

Is there an easy way to wipe out the content of Contact or Calendar?

WIthout creating a new PST, the easiest way is to switch to a list view of
the folder (like By Category), selecting all the items, and pressing Delete.
