error (0x8004011D)

I am using microsoft outlook 2002 on a LAN fine, but when
i take my laptop home to connect to the LAN exchange 5.5
fails to connect and I choose workoffline. As I try to
send and receive mail exchange returns an error -
(0x8004011D) The server is not available. Contact your
administrator if this condition persists.

How can I go round this problem.
