error 0x8004210b

When we try to send certain attachments(usually a few
mb's) our message gets stuck in the outbox and times out
after repeatedly trying to send. When it timesout i
times out with a 0x8004210b error. However often the
messages to arrive at he recipient and sometimes it is
multiple times that they arrive. I have bypassed our
router and still have the same problem. This happens on
multiple machines. I have tried updating Office XP and
still have the sam problem.
