Error 0x800CCCF4 in Outlook

I'm having problem with reading Hotmail using Outlook
2002. I keep getting the following error:

"Task 'Hotmail: Folder:Inbox Synchronizing headers.'
reported error (0x800CCCF4) : 'An unknown error has
occurred. Please save any existing work and restart the
program.'"

I tried creating a new profile, uninstalling and
reinstalling Office XP,and removing and adding my hotmail
account. Any ideas?
